370z NISMO the new shining star

The Nissan 370Z (fairlady Z) introduced a Nismo version for the 2009 year model which is a high performance version of the 370z coupe developped by Nissan's specialty vehicles group in conjunction with tuning partner Autech japan . The tuned 3.7L engine produces 350 bhp at 7,400 RPM increasing with 18 hp from the standard model and 374 N·m at 5,200 RPM with revised ECU settings and exhaust setup. Transmission choice is limited to a 6-speed manual with Nissan's new "SynchroRev Match" function. Handling is improved via stiffened springs and stabilizer bars compared to the 370Z Coupe. Other equipment includes 19-inch RAYS forged aluminum-alloy wheels with Yokohama ADVAN Sport Y-rated tires, 14.0-inch front and 13.8-inch rear vented rotors, NISMO Sport Brakes with 4-piston front and 2-piston rear aluminum calipers, and a fully integrated chin spoiler. "The NISMO name is known throughout the world as the leading supplier of race-bred, factory-tuned, extreme performance Nissan parts, accessories and vehicles," said Al Castignetti, vice president and general manager, Nissan Division, Nissan North America. "The new, second-generation NISMO Z proudly -- and deservedly -- wears the NISMO badge, carrying on the tradition of bringing racing- inspired performance and engineering to the street."
