The Black Baron PT.1

In the time that people thought that Brabus have reached it's limits in tuning Mercedes cars the EV12 came to surprise everybody. with this car Brabus has added a new supersport sedan to it's line of tuned Brabus cars.

this car has the name EV12 and as you see in the pic the car is 2010 E-class model with a notable difference which is the Brabus SV12 R BI-turbo800 engine. this V12 engine produces power of 800hp. this engine consists V-shaped 12 cylenders with a capacity of 6.1L with a twin turbocharger producing 800hp, the car produces torque of 1420Nm which is enough to push this black beast from 0 to 100km/h in 3.7seconds. too fast :D

this engine continues in pushing the car to the limits of 395km/h. with this speed the car is considered one of the most comfortable super cars. also it was modified to include big titanium valves, twin turbochagers tuned from Brabus, special stainless steel exhaust system and lot's of things that brings this car to prefection.
Despite all of this but it's not all folks yet. wait for more tunings in the exterrior and interrior inthe upcoming posts.

Cars Blog: Ismael soheil's aveo 5

In Egypt. it is too hard to find a real racing or modified cars, but it is easy to find cars that grabs your attention for it's simplicity like ismail soheil's aveo 5. this cars defines the meaning of "Less is More". i thought it would be great to show you this little speeding demon.

Nice shot for the little black speeding demon. as you see the car is nearly stock with it's original parts but their is something strange when you see it's black color cruising through the Egyptian streets the car in front of your eyes has a 2.0l chevy epica engine producing 155hp on this little demon and has a torque of 198 N.m, the car also features Cold air intake system + K&N Filter. the car also has an opel F16 gear box which is not good at the 1st gear but you can see the car going wilder on the 2nd gear @ 4.5km/h..waiting for a bigger surprises soon :R

looking great in this picture

their is a 2 inch exhaust system fitted from the begining to the end of the car. also ismael is looking forward to buy the original headers ;)

RPS13

Since the car would become the demo car for Aury Design when completed, the work didn't end there. It was completely stripped down to the bare chassis and more S14 components followed in the way of a complete rear subframe including arms and differential housing. Front arms and stabilizer bars were also swapped over along with the S14 gearbox which had to be mated to a custom propeller shaft created by using one half from the S14 and the other from the RPS13. So now you can begin to understand why I refer to this car as an RPS13.4!

But it didn't end there. The complete wiring loom of the S14 was also transplanted to make sure everything functioned correctly.

To unleash more power out of the SR a set of 256? Tomei Pon Cams were fitted along with a GT28RS turbo, bolted on a Megan Racing header. The exhaust system is composed of a Megan Racing outlet pipe, front pipe and de-cat pipe. On the intake side I went with an HKS Super Power flow filter along with a custom piping kit and front mounted intercooler while the HKS SSQV2 blow off valve provides all the right wooshing sounds! I ditched the stock inlet plenum for a polished GReddy one which is great for response. S15 480 cc/min injectors provide the fueling while everything is governed by the Nistune ECU. Power is around the 350 HP mark. the car also has a Megan Racing radiator with electric extractor fan in order to eliminate the stock pulley driven one.

Here is the RPS13.4 along with some cars at Aury Design.

The interior has been kept simple and clean with some Stri gauges fitted in place of the center air vents...

...along with a Pioneer navi unit and HKS EVC boost controller. The Recaro seats are finished in leather and alcantara for the center sections.

The exterior of the car is fitted with Duraflex front aero fenders (+3 cm) and rear overfenders (+5 cm) great for housing the offset of the Work Emotion CR Kai. Side skirts are Charge Speed.

GP Sports front and rear bumpers along with a Seibon carbon hood were also fitted. The C-West carbon headlight covers give a meaner look to the front end.

I hope you enjoyed taking a look at the RPS13.4, which thanks to its modifications has turned out to be a fun and unique car to drive.

Cars's BLOG: CrawFord STI's TimeAttacker

California. a place where you might visit the best known Subaru tuning shop in North America- CrawFord Performance. Not only is Crawford big among Subaru enthusiasts around the world, but millions of people have been exposed to their car building work following the Ken Block Gymkhana videos. let's focus on Crawford's unlimited class time attack car. Known as "Tony the Tiger" because of its orange and black colors, this 2008 STI is said to be the fastest new body style Impreza in the world

The team like to fool around with this big turbo garett, trying to see how high they can raise the boost and just how much horsepower they can get. During the last Redline event at Autobahn Country Club they ended up moving the boost all the way up to 36lbs, partly by accident. Quirt estimates that at 36lbs the car would produce around 640 horsepower and 750 ft lbs of tourque. They plan to keep pushing it to find out the true limits of the engine.

The suspension of the car is handled by Tein, who worked closely with the Crawford team to perfect the setup.

let's get into the car itself. All the work on the car was done in-house at the Crawford shop, with the exception of the carbon fiber fabrication.
The engine is a 2.5 base stroked to 2.6 liters with an 84mm stroker crank. The engine has billet pistons that were developed as a collabo between Crawford and JE. Apparently they have five times the life of the forged pistons that were used previously. Quirt says he's been amazed at the capability of the heads Subaru puts on their engines. This car only has light head work, with a higher valve spring rate that works better with the high boost its putting out. The engine is also running E85 injection, which is much more cost efficient than the race fuel that is usually used on engines built to this level.

The exterrior of the car retains similarties with the stock STI as a part of agreement with Subaru. All of the bumpers, fenders, and doors on the car are the OEM pieces, with the only carbon pieces being the roof, rear spoiler, and the hood. At around 2,750 lbs, Quirt says that the car is way too heavy - and they plan to remove about 400lbs from the car by doing whatever they can. A custom wide body kit is in the works, and it will be outfitted to both to the time attack car and to the Ken Block car.
Tarzan Yamada the driver of the car has an equal part of success that Crawford has in putting the car. Tarzan Yamada commutes from Japan to drive this car, providing not only his incredible driving talent, but valuable feedback on how to improve the car's setup. Tarzan enjoys driving this car so much that he wants to put the engine in his own Team Tarzan Cusco Impreza...
View of the front splitter and canards that have been outfitted to the OEM front bumper

A better side view of the redesigned STI 2008 model year. this car is a front runner in the Unlimited AWD class, taking numerous event victories along the way.

A better view of the scaffolding in the rear. The side windows have been replaced for plexiglass, but the stock glass window remains in the back.

Let's see how is the car from the inside, the transmission on the car remains stock. The fact that the stock unit can handle the power this car is making is a testament to how tough Subaru builds these things. The interior of the car has been stripped and equipped with a cage and a single Recaro bucket, but otherwise remains amazingly stock for an unlimited class car.

it's surprising to see how little had been changed on the interior of the car. The factory dashboard, center console, gauge cluster, and even steering wheel are still being used.

The sound of the heavily built flat-four exits the car through this Crawford original piece mean-looking exhaust system. a lot of the parts on this car will be making their way into the hands of customers around the world. This car also served as an development base for Ken Block's Gymkhana Two car, which can be seen in the opening shot of this story. Both the time attack car and the Ken Bock car share a lot of the same components.

the car is running 275 width Hankook C1's, but more rubber is needed to get all that power to the ground and to avoid oversteering on the track. That is one of the reasons for developing the wide body.

Once you start making big power the brakes are the first thing that need to changed. This car is running a Brembo Gran Turismo kit front and rear, which can be seen behind the 18x10.5 Volk CE28 wheels.

So far the car has exceeded all expectations, running faster than anyone thought with so many stock parts. there are many seconds to be shaved off lap times With beefier tires and a heavy diet.

When Crawford ran their old time attack car there wasn't a whole lot of competition, but now there is some very fast competition out there. Quirt is happy with this, as it keeps them motivated to make the car go faster and faster. Crawford considers the Mitsubishis of AMS to be their biggest rivals, with the new AMS Evo X car going head to head with this car in the unlimited class. There's also the new Sierra Evo, which is another target on the list. wait for intresting videos...

Video Blog: Super GT testing

A great video clip of Super GT cars doing some preseason testing at Suzuka Circuit - shot by Car@Nifty

Hyper Pro racer

Let me introduce you to the Aussie Racing. The aussie racing is an Australian motor racing category. Essentially a motorcycle powered Sports car class, it was created by former Touring car racer Phil Ward, influenced by the American Legends category.
In 2009 the series made the transition from running at V8 Supercar events to run on the Shannons Nationals Motor Racing Championships program..

Jon Crooke a guy who worked ten years to develope the Hyper PRO Racer, a so-called "Superkart" delivering massive power and minimum weight. Using a Yamaha 450 WR four-stroke motorcycle engine runing through a five-speed sequential gearbox, the Hyper PRO weighs just 352 pounds minus the weight of the driver. That isn't too much more than the enduro bike the engine is taken from. The weight savings respect of the superkart's spaceframe, which also acts as an FIA-approved roll cage. Instead of building a frame that accessories would be mounted to with brackets, the superkart's externals are mounted directly to a highly designed and minimalist chassis frame without additional hardware. Those externals include Ohlins aluminum-bodied race shocks, four-wheel cross-vented disc brakes with billet four-pot aluminum brake calipers, according to Hyper PRO, the result is a track runner that can lap a little faster than an Aussie racing car (not a V8 Supercar), a little slower than a GT Production car. But it beats them all for price: the track day Racer S is $29,500 Australian , the hillclimb Racer R is $35,500. check out the video...

Mercedes Benz F800

The Mercedes-Benz F800 Style concept car that'll debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month is highly-touted by Mercedes-benz's press release scribes for its green-car tech, but what's most intresting in this car is it's style, which is everyone's first peek at what the next-generation CLS-Class sedan is going to look like. To that end, get ready for a nose section whose grille apes that of the SLS AMG, plus enough flame-surfaced bodywork to make one envision Chris Bangle, sporting a set of Groucho glasses to mask his true identity, clandestinely moonlighting at Benz. The rear doors are sliders, because it's a concept, and you need to give the people a clear view into the swoopy, sci-fi passenger cabin. Props to Mercedes PR for gamely making it sound as if there's an actual practical application for those doors, though (see the attached press release).Mercedes-Benz also touts the concept's flexible powertrain platform. The realistic option is a plug-in hybrid system that's basically an offshoot of the V6 light-hybrid setup found in the S400 sedan. Mercedes says this new plug-in gas-electric system, which is good for over 400 combined horsepower, gives the car an EV-only driving range of 18 miles. The automaker has announced that a new plug-in system is headed to the next-gen S-Class, so don't dismiss the F800's hybrid setup as trendy green pandering. Save that cynicism for the concept's other powertrain option: a compact fuel cell/electric setup evolved from the one used in the current F-Cell cars. We have no doubt that the technology itself is genuinely impressive, and we're sure news of its development will be a hit with all the jet-setters at the next snowbound global warming conference. From a mass-production, real-person's-car standpoint, expect to see the fuel cell system in Benz showrooms right after Mercedes intros a 700-horsepower inline 3-cylinder that runs on unicorn milk. Alas, we digress. The F800 concept also introduces two new technologies that will doubtless appear in upcoming models. Distronic Plus Traffic Jam Assistant is an enhanced version of Mercedes' active cruise control system, which can now steer the car through curves as long as it's traveling under 25 mph. Neat. Also new is the Pre-Safe 360-degree system, which expands the existing Pre-Safe collision detection/mitigation system to the rear of the car. Now, if Pre-Safe senses that a rear-end impact is imminent, it'll apply the brakes in a bid to keep the car from getting into an additional chain-reaction accident involving other cars or pedestrians. Drifting nissan skyline R31

While i was on speedhunters blog as always i found a car that really took my heart. this car is a track racing car. and you are lucky if you experienced that 5, or 10 minutes of track racing in streets. but that doesn't happen Australia due to the laws and police. that's what Casey John Dhnaram did. after he saw the car out on track in action . he shooted it with his camera, and so i decided to talk about this car also.

Let me introduce you ladies and gentlmen to Justin Fankhauser's R31 Skyline Drift Car. maybe it is not the hottest skyline r31 but for the Australian scene this thing is pretty off chops.

The car has a full set of Superlites that finishes the car in style, With a width of 10" all around, stretched to perfection.

Perfect ride height, and almost perfect wheel fitment.

Twin Pipes are a big thing over here and are very common on a lot of drift cars

After finishing the exterrior, let's take a closer look at the engine and how this machine is ran. RB30ET - 10:1 Compression, boosted by a T04E with a 40mm Trust Copy External Gate.

and from inside

Moving on to the motion shots.. the car looks pretty.

still in motion.

then you glance over and see this.

Then This...

Still drifting...

some photos for him drifting on track as well. with his final battle leaving him in 2nd place, he was over the moon.

Justin on the far right hand side..

and at last i would to thank you for looking
