the charming gull-wing renaissance











mercedes has recently taken the wraps off it's latest achievment; the SLS amg gull wing. the newest mec takes the iconic 300 SL gull wing to the nextgeneration and couples it with a mighty 6.3l amg engine. beneath the retro design. besides a v8 power plant,delivering a whopping 571 hp to rear wheels via a seven speed tansaxle-mounted dual clutch gear box. the new mer cockets from 0 to 100km/h in 3.8 sec. while top speed is set in excess of 315 km/h. these weren't possible without a light weight aluminium space frame . also the merc SLS uses a low center of gravity for enhanced handling. the suspension features a 47/53 weight distribution and dual A-arm with track rods at all four wheel ceramics brakes comes as standard equipment. the merc SLS uses a nappa leather, real metal trim, and optional real carbon fiber. the car will strike the show rooms in 2010 IF YOU'RE GETTING EXCITED A PURCHASE .
