Ferrari announced thier replacement of the Ferrari F430, the all-new 458 Italia. officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September 2009. the new mid-engined Ferrari has a new 4.5 litre flat-plane crank V8 as usual, but this time with direct-injection delivering 562hp at 9000rpm and 398lb-ft of torque, this engine must be the highest revving engine ever for a Ferrari production road car .
The new direct-injection engine can come to Ferrari's with new seven speed dual clutch gearbox.

Ok, the numbers: 202mph top speed, 3.4 seconds to 62mph, and 21mpg, The new car will come equipped with all sorts of gadgetry, E-Diff, F1-Trac, ABS, and other acronyms. What really matters to me though in a Ferrari (not that I can afford one now, or ever..) is the sound, the feel, and the style.
The car was designed by Pininfarina, as with all recent Ferrari models. The car’s exterior styling and features were designed for aerodynamic efficiency, producing a downforce of 140 kg at (200 km/h). In particular, the front grille features deformable winglets that lower at high speeds, in order to offer reduced drag. The car's interior was designed using input from former Ferrari Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher, including a new steering wheel design which incorporates many features and controls as opposed to them being on the dashboard, similar to racing car designs.
According to Autocar, the 458 Italia's design has drawn inspiration from the Enzo Ferrari and its Mille Chili concept car. It has been designed to be Ferrari's
sportiest V8-engined car, to distinguish itself from the recently launched Ferrari California.
