G sports toyota FT-86


Toyota, one manufacturer that has won back the respect of car enthusiasts since the announcement of the FT-86 in fall last year. surprising every one, the Japanese automaker Toyota has unveiled the FT-86 G Sports Concept at the 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon new tuning outfit, G's, created a turbocharged version of the new hachiroku, leaving most stunned at just how damn hot this car can look dressed up with some tasty carbon parts. The G Sports Concept gets a more chiseled front bumper with a carbon fiber contoured central air damn to help convey air straight to the intercooler. The carbon fiber hood sports a pair of symmetrical air outlets to help keep the EJ20 nice and cool while the lights gain an Audi-like top LED strip.

The new modified FT-86 will be the first factory modified vehicles that will be sold this summer under the new nameplate. The G Sports concepts are aimed at customers who have a strong desire to own a unique vehicle by offering them both personalized interior and exterior pieces that is designed to give the driver a sports car experience. As opposed to traditional manufacturers who might have outsourced a job like this, Toyota has kept the G Sports line an in house project.

The first of a the factory tuned G Sport cars is equipped with wider wheel arches to house the unique 19 inch alloys, a vented carbon fiber hood as well as aggressive front and back bumpers also Carbon fiber is used for the side skirts and the rear diffuser not to mention the rear spoiler, which is actually designed just like a Toyota F1 front spoiler! On the inside the FT-86 G Sports Concept gets a pair of Recaro racing buckets while a sport tuned suspension in order to make the new FT-86 as fun to drive as the old Hachi Roku.
